'The Lee Kun-hee's house in Hannam-dong costs KRW 43.1 billion'

The most expensive detached house in the country is the house in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, by the late Samsung Group Chairman Lee Kun-hee.

According to the "Real Estate Information Inquiry System" in Seoul on the 19th, the official price of Chairman Lee's house in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul this year is 43.15 billion won, up 5.6 percent from last year's 40.88 billion won. The second most expensive house in the country is also Chairman Lee's house in Itaewon, up 2.2 percent from 34.2 billion won last year to 34.96 billion won this year. Shinsegae Chairman Lee Myung-hee's home in Hannam-dong this year is 30.65 billion won, up 6.6 percent from last year's 28.74 billion won.

The official price of a former president's detached house has risen to around 10 percent this year. The Lee Myung-bak, former president of his home, Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, 10.1 billion from 60 million won to 11.5 billion to 70 million won rose 13.9 percent. The official price of former President Chun Doo-hwan's house in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu, is 3.276 billion won this year, up 7.9 percent from last year's (3.37 billion won). Park Geun-hye, former president, Naegok-dong, Seocho-gu, home of 14 billion of the 15 million won, rose 8.4 percent to 87 million won.
