'The Galaxy Unpack was held only online for the first time in history'
The Galaxy Unpack (New Product Disclosure Event), which was held by Samsung Electronics at 11 p.m. on the 5th, was held only online for the first time in history due to the aftermath of Corona 19.
The event was broadcast live online around the world with some pre-recorded and real-time videos from studios in Korea.
Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Unpack has been held in New York and San Francisco, the U.S., with 3,000 to 4,000 media and partner companies gathered.
It is heard that Samsung Electronics did this unpack at a studio in South Korea without outsiders. About 300 Galaxy fans around the world were connected by video and their cheers and reactions were connected in real time.
As with offline events, Samsung Electronics introduced the product through a recorded video and delivered messages from overseas celebrities through video connections.
Game streamer Miss and musician Khalid, who have 6.69 million followers on global stars BTS and Twitch, also served as ambassadors for the Galaxy.
Roh Tae-moon, head of Samsung Electronics' wireless business division, appeared on the live online stage and said, "Technology is playing an important role now. We will give consumers a stronger Galaxy experience to help them focus on important things and enjoy a rich life."
After the event, Samsung Electronics will set up and operate 'Galaxy Studio', a product experience space, at major hubs such as Yeongdeungpo Times Square in Seoul.
