The ceremony, which starts at 9 a.m., will include a military band's celebratory performance, a motorcycle parade, a video screening for the people's cheer, and a performance for the integrated choir. The ceremony, which is the main event, will start from 10 a.m. starting with the national rites. From 4 p.m., a street parade will take place around Sejong-daero (Sungnyemun to Gwanghwamun).

2. Seoul Metropolitan Government's Intensive Investigation of Illegal Accommodation Business in Apartments and Villas for Tourists

The Seoul Metropolitan Government's Public Welfare Judicial Police Corps (Civil Corps) announced on the 26th that it will focus on investigating illegal accommodation in apartment houses targeting tourists from next month.

The move comes in response to a surge in complaints about illegal accommodation business activities that use online shared accommodation platforms to turn apartments, multi-family houses, and villas into lodging facilities and provide them to tourists. According to the civil service, the number of illegal accommodation business activities using apartments has increased from five last year to 10 so far this year.

The subject of the investigation is an apartment house where complaints about living continue to occur due to noise and garbage generated by tourists, and an apartment house that operates without reporting the business of accommodation on shared accommodation Internet sites such as Airbnb. In particular, the civil group plans to investigate them intensively as even businesses that use apartment houses to systematically and professionally conduct accommodation businesses.

3. Shingil District 13, Seoul's First Public Reconstruction Apartment with 587 Generations

The 13th section of Singil-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, will be reborn as a total of 587 apartment complexes through the city's first public reconstruction.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 26th that it revised and approved the plan to promote the reorganization of Singil 13 districts at the first subcommittee on urban finance and non-authorization held the previous day.

Accordingly, it plans to more than double the number of households supplied from 266 households (49 public housing units) to 587 households (181 public housing units) by raising the use area of the target site from third-class general housing to semi-residential areas.
