Hanwha Energy Fire at Yeosu Plant... There are no casualties
A fire broke out at Hanwha Energy's factory in Yeosu National Industrial Complex, Jeollanam-do.
According to the Yeosu Fire Station on the 18th, a fire broke out at around 10:30 a.m. at Hanwha Energy's bituminous coal unloading facility in Yeosu National Industrial Complex.
The company reportedly reported that the fire broke out at around 11:55 a.m. after self-extinguishing work.
Police and fire authorities are reportedly investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on official statements that "the fire broke out while repairing the unloading facility screw conveyor belt." No casualties were found.
Meanwhile, Hanwha Energy in Yeosu National Industrial Complex also caught fire in a boiler storage facility in September last year.
